Aboriginal people face more challenges than any other group in Australia. We want to improve the health and life expectancy outcomes of Aboriginal people and break the cycle of disadvantage.
No group in Australia faces more challenges than our Aboriginal population.
Low health and life expectancy outcomes are part of a cycle of disadvantage that Youth Off The Street aims to break.
Youth Off The Streets Aboriginal Services improves outcomes for young people, their families and their communities. We offer Outreach and Early Intervention services that are designed to help Aboriginal youth break the cycle of disadvantage.
Aboriginal Services works with every arm of Youth Off The Streets to make sure the rights and needs of Aboriginal young people are factored into every one of our activities and programs.
We work in partnership with Aboriginal Elders, local service providers, government departments and community members. Our proven models are culturally appropriate and we listen closely to communities so that we can specifically tailor our programs to meet their needs.
