Steps to leaving a gift in your Will
- Decide how you want to provide for your loved ones in your Will.
- If you choose to recognise Youth Off The Streets in your Will, consider whether you wish to leave a specific sum of money, a percentage of the value of your estate, or an asset such as real estate, shares or bonds, or an item of particular value. As little as 1% of your estate could make a life-changing difference for the 40,000 children and young people forced into homelessness every year.
- Visit a solicitor to have your Will written or updated with a codicil (a legal document used to make amendments or changes to an existing Will).
