The Bowen College

October 10, 2017

The Bowen College is one of our five accredited high schools dedicated to providing tailored and focused education for students (years 9 and 10) who may be at risk of falling behind in mainstream schooling.

The Bowen College was opened in February 2018 and provides education for young people who are either disengaged or at risk of becoming disengaged from mainstream education. The Bowen College is a member of the Association of Independent Schools, NSW. The school’s learning programs comply with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). Student progress is facilitated by Individual Learning Plans these provide opportunity to up-skill students in Years 9 and 10 throughout the year. Students work towards being eligible for their RoSA, then to progress to Year 11, re-enter into mainstream and/or transition into vocational training or employment.

Youth Off The Streets operates five registered and accredited high schools over six campuses. For more information about the rest of our schools, please click here.
