From the outside, everything looked normal.

Ruby* was only a teenager when domestic violence threw her life into chaos and ultimately drove her out of home.

Without a trusted adult to guide and protect her, Ruby very quickly found herself in dangerous situations.

The longer young people like Ruby go before getting specialised support, the harder it can be to find a way back to safety.

Through support from Youth Off The Streets, Ruby was able to access safe accommodation, casework assistance and ongoing guidance, creating space for stability and a way forward.

Your donation can help turn survival into safety and uncertainty into possibility for young people just like Ruby.

The statistics are staggering, with over 13,300 unaccompanied young people aged 12-17 seeking help from homelessness services in just one year.

We urgently need more resources to respond to the growing need for homelessness services.
