Many of the young people who use our services have not been able to develop the personal financial management skills they need to live independently.

All our accredited schools work hard to foster the numeracy and literacy skills required in the workforce and at home. We focus on understanding budgets and how young people can make money work for them.

At Koch Centre for Youth and Learning we run a financial literacy program that is designed to equip young people to manage their personal budgets.

Our Inner West Youth Homelessness Service also runs a Brokerage program which helps support young people aged 16-25 with financial matters. We can help young people organise finance in the following areas:
• Establishing or moving tenancy
• Management of housing related debts
• Employment and education related costs
• Capacity building and living skills costs
• Legal expenses
• Medical and dental expenses
• Culturally specific expenses
