Youth Off The Streets is an approved Employability Skills Training (EST) provider through the PaTH initiative. The program gives the participants the opportunity to gain the skills and experience required to acquire and maintain employment.
The program contains 3 elements:
Prepare: Provides pre-employability training
Trial: Provides young people with voluntary internship opportunities
Hire: Provides young people with paid employment opportunities
Youth Off The Streets will be delivering training block one of the Employability Skills training as a full time load: 25 hours per week (Mon-Thurs) for three weeks.
Course is conducted online. Participants will have access to our Virtual Classroom setting (Zoom and Google Classroom)
Training block one covers: pre-employability skills required to operate within the workforce with a focus on soft skills. Learners will have the ability to obtain a Statement of Attainment in Skills for Work if they choose to complete the assessments.

If you are a registered with a Job Active provider within the Sydney South West area and are aged 17-24 years old, you can speak to your JA provider about this activity.
Learners can be referred for the activity through the ESS Web.
