Taking Action Creating Change Together (TACCT) program

Youth Off The Streets offers workshops for youth workers, caseworkers, counsellors, psychologists and other professionals, which equip them with the tools they need to approach DFSV sensitively and compassionately throughout their work.
Launched in May 2024, TACCT is an innovative training workshop that aims to enhance support for children and young people impacted by DFSV. It applies a trauma-informed approach, putting the lived experiences of children and young people at the centre of practices and support interventions.
TACCT is based on the latest evidence and best practice frameworks, developed in collaboration with subject matter experts, sector representatives, and young people with lived experience. The workshops will cover critical areas such as:
- Identifying signs of DFSV in youth
- Understanding the specific risks and needs of young people
- Applying trauma-informed and youth-centred approaches in your work
The TACCT team delivers training across multiple locations in NSW. Current opportunities to register for TACCT training are listed below.
