The Hogs For The Homeless Raffle gives you the chance to win a Harley-Davidson 750 Street Rod valued at $12,995.
Australia may be considered the lucky country to many, but for 105,237 Australians this isn’t the case.
One in 200 people are homeless in Australia on any given night, including more than 47,000 young people who struggle with fear and hunger on a daily basis.
It was with this in mind that in 2013, NSW True Blues Brad Fittler and Nathan Hindmarsh conceived the idea of Hogs For The Homeless.
The pair, with the support of the NSWRL, enlisted the help of other former Rugby League players for what would become an annual fundraiser, riding their Harley-Davidson motorcycles throughout country NSW.
Along the way they would raise money for Father Chris Riley’s Youth Off The Streets, a non-denominational community organisation working for young people who may be homeless, drug dependent and recovering from abuse.
The visit to regional communities also has the added benefit of promoting Rugby League, with free clinics held and footballs given away to promote participation in the Greatest Game Of All.
Since its inception, Hogs For The Homeless has raised over $700,000 for Youth Off The Streets, while thousands of balls have been provided to children and dozens of communities visited.
You can support the cause by purchasing raffle tickets and entering the draw to win a Harley-Davidson 750 Street Rod valued at $12,995, among other prizes.
