Simply put, my organisation Youth Off The Streets would not be able to change the lives of so many young people if it weren’t for the tireless efforts of my dedicated volunteers.
For over 25 years, Youth Off The Streets has been dedicated to helping some of the most underprivileged, disadvantaged and vulnerable young people in our country. This week I would like to again voice my thanks to all of those who have helped me throughout the years.
Whether you have been supporting me since day 1, or have only recently started volunteering with me: thank you.
Thank you for giving Australia’s future a second chance.
Thank you for your tireless efforts.
Thank you for your countless hours of dedication.
But mostly, thank you for believing in our young people.
National Volunteer week runs from 8 May to 14 May with the theme: Give Happy, Live Happy. On this, I would like to extend my gratitude to not only those that volunteer for Youth Off The Streets, but to all of those who lend their time and skills to make our country a better place to be every single day.
Thank you to those who happily give, so others can happily live.
